The photo of Dairy House Farm, Watnall is of the farm that my Great Aunt Ada farmed between 1922- 1955. The postcard shows the farm and the next house along was a sweet shop in the 1920s. The farm was made a compulsory purchase in 1970s and demolished for a road widening project.
