Shortly before passing under Clifton Boulevard we join the formation of the Great Central Railway and use ita all the way to Wilford. On 5th May, 2012, we look from Ruddington Lane bridge towards Nottingham as the cutting is being cleared. This section has become an unofficial nature reserve.
