Now known as 'The Cottage'. The Post Office was opened in 1898 and moved from this building in 1930 since which time it has been a private residence. A new Post Office was built close to the Rose and Crown public house on Main Street (See NCCE 000747). The road beside the cottage in this photograph is West End, whilst in the distance may be seen the Parish Church of St Peter, Farndon. The picture is taken looking northwards.
