A photograph of a group of motorcyclists and mechanics with four motorcycles. Three of these with visable Nottinghamshire civil registration numbers (AL 3609, AL 3612, AL ?). Also note - AL3609 issued on December 12th 1914 to 3 1/2 hp. The Triumph motorcycle is owned by Corporal Leonard Kerridge, 11th Signal Company, Royal Engineers, Newark, to be used for 'Government purposes'. AL3612 was issued on the same date to 31/2 hp Sunbeam motorcycle owned by Corporal Percy Morris, 11th Signal Company, Royal Engineers, Newark, to be used for 'Government purposes'.
