Old Hall Close
Farndon
England
Pevsner describes Farndon's Old Hall as a 'dignified mid 18th century building, and the greenhouse (pictured here) as late 18th century. The semi-circular gable window exhibits decorative coloured glass, whilst inside there is an open fireplace at the rear (not chimney). The picture, from 1979, shows the greenhouse/orangery before its complete restoration in the 1990's. (Information kindly supplied by Farndon Local History Society)
