The bus pictured has Gash's fleet number DD9. It was the last of nine Daimler CVD6 buses purchased by Gash's. It had Duple bodywork seating 57. The bus was purchased new in September 1951 and was in service until withdrawn in August 1979. With the roof removed, it was used as a tree lopper after withdrawal.
