Main Street
North Muskham
England
This view shows the remains of a Cross in a field on the east side of Main Street. It is thought that the cross acted as a guide for persons fording the Trent from Holme, before the river was dredged. Holme was in North Muskham parish and a track, known as 'Holme Lane' in the eighteenth century, ran from a point near the Cross to the river bank.
