King's Road Unitarian Chapel completed in 1884. OS map of 1885 shows: Unitarian Chapel (seating for 120). Whilst being empty during the Second World War, it has, since 1954, been occupied by the Staythorpe Electricity Sports and Social Club. The foundation stone, which can just be observed behind the slim centre support of the 'Revival Centre' notice, and which has deteriorated over time, begins: 'THE FOUNDATION STONE WAS LAID APRIL 29 1884'.
