25 Carter Gate to left and is currently (2012) Sports Direct; building to the right of the image is E.L.Richardson at 29 Carter Gate. Between these two buildings are now the premises: 27 - 27c Carter Gate. At 29 Carter Gate is Newark Property Management and 27 Carter Gate, Ladbrokes. The demolition and construction occurred when the Finefare Supermarket was built on this site. Before that it was a doctors surgery and had a large garden. The Doctor was Doctor Hine.
