The west lodge on the west side of the A614 opposite the main gates (see no.1) seen here from the SE. It is in use as a private residence today. Beyond the trees on the right is 'Rose Cottage'. The lodge is built entirely of Mansfield Stone, including the ornamental balustrade on the bay of front window. Note the Saville family crest on the cup at the top of the fall pipe
