The portal of entry to the mill-race. The stream feeding this enters the park lake out the south end and the entry to the mill-race is sluice controlled. This is at the northern end of the lake. A Sluice is also situated at the NE corner of the lake The portal of exit is from the mill-race can be seen in photo no.38a. Also the stream as it leaves the lake via the Sluice to cross Wellow Lane.
