Robinson's was located at 33 Sherwood Avenue. Two notices on the shop sign note that the business has been established in 1894 and that it had previously been owned by E Hague. By the time this picture was taken in 1963/1964, it was listed as being operated by A Robinson. The shop's telephone number was Newark 1132. The lady pictured in the doorway is Mrs Osmond, who worked in the shop.
