Looking from Mill Lane corner - Firs Farm buildings with Hallam Boys (?) in the cart. The house on the left was the King William IV public house. The licence was taken away in 1917. The end cottage in left foreground was a little house shop. The lady who lived there, a widow, was called Mrs Sewell.
