This large brewery complex was developed after 1872. As well as brewing Warwicks & Richardsons also malted their own barley on site. Brewing ceased here in the 1960s. This photograph shows an interior view of the former company offices fronting onto Northgate. The offices were built in 1890 to the designs of architect William Bliss Sanders. At the time this photograph was taken (1997) the offices were awaiting conversion into luxury flats.
