Northgate
Newark on Trent
England

Designed by the architect William Bliss Sanders (who also designed Newark's original General Hospital on London Road), these offices at Warwicks & Richardsons fronted onto Northgate with their extensive brewing and malting complex extending behind. The buildings date from 1890. Brewing ceased here in the 1960s and at the time this photograph was taken (1997) the buildings were awaiting conversion into luxury flats.
