This large brewery complex was developed after 1872. This was the first building to be erected on the extensive site in 1864. As well as brewing, Warwicks and Richardson's also malted their own barley, which was the purpose of this building. Still largely intact (at least externally) it is piciture here in 1997 when the buildings were awaiting conversion into luxury flats.
