The Fountain Hotel on the eastern perimeter of the town, looking northwest from the new A611 bridge over the GR main line to the north. The old road crossed the railway by level-crossing to the right of the photo. It now terminates there. In the right background is the embankment carrying the A1, which now bypasses the town.
