Steam crane in use at Messrs. Cafferata's quarry at Hawton. The crane is lifing a skip full of gypsum from quarry bottom. Note that crane is mounted on rails and behind crane is the conveyor. Structure in left background is an 'air run' for moving materials from one side of the quarry.
